How to create a Business Process Flow (BPF).

• Business Process Flow is always Specific to Entity, although you can use multiple entity within Business process Flow. But there is no option to create BPF which can be used over all the entities

Go To Sales

Now Go To Setting Area.

Click Process in Setting Area

Click New button (You will find it on ribbon bar)

Now you will see a new pop up which is a generic popup for creating multiple process.

Add Name as per your understanding

In Option set of Type Select Business process Flow.
You will see some changes in that popup as soon as you select .
The below grid will be gone now and you will get option to select which type of business process.
And Schema Name of business process flow, you can change here.
you cannot change this schema name once its created.

Select Entity for which you want to create a business process flow.

For Now keep type of business process flow as Business Flow. We will learn about task flow or mobile task flow later.

Click OK and your Business process Flow is ready.
You will presented with following screen

This Screen is Called as a Process Designer which has Ribbon on top.
Canvas in middle and Properties and Component on its right Side.

Another Way to create BPF is via solution.
As an organization, Its good an approach to create BPF in specific solution and not directly in Default solution.
Above process will create process in default solution.
But below process will create BPF in specific solution.

Select arrow next to Sales

Select Setting area and then Select Solution in customization sub Area.

Select the Solution in which you want to create Business process Flow and open it.

Go To process and Click New

Now you will see a new pop up which is a generic popup for creating multiple process.

When you create new BPF, One default stage and within it one default data step is added
The Default step is something you cannot cut or delete.
