- Enable/Disable duplicate Data detection in System.
- Default is , Enabled.
- When Data is created/Update/Imported Duplicate Detection Runs and gives user a warning to continue or cancel.
- Duplicates aren’t detected when a user merges two records, activates or deactivates a record, or saves a completed activity.
- If your system contains a large number of records, checking for duplicates can impact performance
- Enable duplicate detection in the wizard, to detect duplicate while importing data.
- When Outlook for CRM go online from offline Duplicate Detection Runs and gives user a warning to continue or cancel.
- For this, User need to enable duplicate detection in outlook as well.
- To enable duplicate detection in Outlook, choose File > Dynamics 365 > Options. Choose the Local Data tab, and then select the Enable duplicate detection during offline to online synchronization check box.
- Disabling will Unpublished the rules Associated to it.
